Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2024

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies viscom-es.com uses, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They are used, for example, to remember a choice you made, so the website does not ask you again on your next visit.

2. Who is responsible

Viscom Engineering Services SRL
Sediul RADU STANCA 2B/2, 400355 Cluj-Napoca, Romania
E-mail: info@viscom-es.com

3. Cookies we use

Our website uses one cookie only.

Name Purpose Duration Type
cookie_consent Stores whether you accepted or declined our cookie notice, so the notice is not shown again on every visit. It contains the value "accepted" or "declined" and no personal profile. 180 days First party, set by viscom-es.com

This cookie is needed to respect your choice. The legal basis is Romanian Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, and our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in remembering your decision.

4. Cookies we do not use

We currently use no analytics cookies, no advertising or marketing cookies, and no tracking pixels. If we add any in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before they are set.

5. Your choices

When you first visit our website, a notice at the bottom of the page lets you accept or decline. Because we set no cookies beyond the one described above, your choice does not change which cookies are stored. We still record it so we can respect it.

You can delete the cookie at any time in your browser settings. The notice will then appear again on your next visit. You can also set your browser to block or delete all cookies. Instructions are in the help section of your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari and others). Blocking all cookies does not stop you from using this website.

6. Third party content

Some pages load a JavaScript library (jQuery UI) from code.jquery.com. This does not involve a cookie from us, but your browser contacts that provider to download the file, so it receives your IP address. Details are in section 6 of our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. The current version is always on this page.

8. Contact

If you have questions about cookies or about your data, write to info@viscom-es.com.
